#TankaTuesday #Poetry Challenge

breeze blends into love
whispering rhythmic tunes
colors have faded
but our relationship knows
how we defeated darkness

***

bound by promises
and the gnarled branches of life,
constant companions
waiting for the final kiss
life’s winter is beckoning

***

inspired from your love
I watch you, waiting for spring
to dance once again
and dispel loneliness that
lingers in my pining heart

  1. These poems make a magical appearance on the cool skin of cravings, bound by promises, still branching where mistletoe grows, but in the light, love still dances, waiting for springiness, a dance partner for loneliness that will emerge from the pine forest to take to the pining heart.

  2. Very beautiful poems Balroop on relationships and seasons. We can all relate to them at some stage in our lives.
You have a way with words that touch your readers.
    Take care
